Abstract
This study addresses the management of anxiety in patients with cardiac diseases. The introduction highlights the prevalence of anxiety and its correlation with cardiovascular diseases (CVDs), emphasizing the importance of understanding this relationship to develop effective interventions. The methodology includes a search in PubMed and Scielo databases, using specific descriptors to select relevant studies published between 2016 and 2020. The results indicate that combined interventions, including cognitive behavioral therapies, psychological support, and pharmacological treatments, are effective in reducing anxiety symptoms and improving patients’ quality of life. Additionally, effective communication between doctors and patients is crucial for the success of the treatment. The conclusion reinforces the need for a multidisciplinary and patient-centered approach, emphasizing the importance of humanizing health practices. This study highlights the significance of integrated interventions to optimize anxiety management in clinical settings, promoting better treatment adherence and more favorable clinical outcomes.
